Artist Statement:
"This was painted on site from the back of my truck looking across the water toward the brilliant light. Because of the rapidly changing colors, the painting was executed very quickly on a blue violet toned sanded paper. The work took on an abbreviated calligraphic feel--a visual shorthand-something I would like to be able to do more often."
